My name is Katia Simeoni and I have been a professional makeup artist for film, fashion, brides and events since 2014.

My love for film and its magical special effects has brought me to Rome to study SFX, film and TV makeup at the renowned Studio13 Academy; after that, I have always looked forward to new challenges which would let me grow as an artist. 
 

I have worked on a number of short films, TV and web series, music videos, commercials, fashion shoots and shows, and also with brides and women on special occasions.
 

Prior to working as a makeup artist, I got a degree in Translation and Interpretation for English and German. Having a professional knowledge of foreign languages brought me back to Studio13 Academy as an English makeup teacher, and also as an interpreter during a workshop with famous SFX makeup artist Kristyan Mallett (Harry Potter, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars - The Last Jedi). 
 

I always strive to find the perfect balance between the creativity of my ideas and the sharp precision of their execution. Every face, every body is a unique canvas, with its features and peculiarities: my goal is to let their very own beauty stand out and be free to express itself.
